    Hi,

Do you know a forum dedicated to jazz music (not only with bass players)?

    Thank you!

I follow a jazz guitar forum pretty closely that also covers bass a bit ( jazzguitar.be ). You looking a musician-based or listener-based?

Actually I would like to know the name of the style of a jazz tune. Maybe you can help if you're in jazz?

I'm really lost between the different jazz styles :)

It's jazz if it is any bit unconventional.

A lot of mistakes end up classified as jazz.

    It can't be helped.

I would class that as jazz fusion

Highly sampled too. Here's how Miles actually runs the voodoo down...

A throwback to earlier styles of JF. The drummer has a pretty stoopid name, however.

Not a forum, but a thread of mine seems to have taken off a bit. Check out Let's talk about jazz. and you may be able to get your answers, or even discover new questions.

Excellent recommendation esp. for jazz music theory you can use.

  11. Mistakes only get classified as jazz when they are purposefully duplicated after the initial instance.:woot:

Check out learn jazz standards dot com website and FB page if you looking a site for learning how to play jazz

  13. I dig straight ahead traditional jazz. But it seems the jazz hybrids are discussed more often.

Not into jazz but if that is jazz I find it very disappointing.

    None
I heard a quote by someone that went like this. "Jazz is when you work your butt off learning the rules of music then break all those rules when you Play".
