Trying out a few new pickguards on a modded SX Jazz Ltd.

Tell you the truth , I like 'em all... and will swapping them out occasionally just to keep things interesting.

But, what do you guys think looks better on a natural finish?

Here's another pickguard... for some reason, I couldn't download more than 2 on the first try.

The bass originally came with a gloss white (not pictured).

  4. black is more classic but i do love the nat pg, looks like a big ole slab o' wood

    Wood PG looks much nicer.

That wood one is hot, is it bubinga? I like a bass that doesn't look just like a million others so I'd pick the wood.

Well, FWIW, when I put this bass together, I chose the wood PG over any other color:

I get more compliments on the looks of this beast than any of my others....go figure.

I'm getting ready to put a wood control plate on next....

  15. dude! great job!
I think you should see if you can put wood pickup covers on it too, i kinda think the metal ones clash with the PG

You know, that's not a bad idea! I will have to consider that! That would really "set it apart"......

I would agree, wood pickup covers would look amazing on it, and so much different.

P.S. I do like the wood pg better than the black, but both look good.
