I have a Fender Jazz MIM and have replaced the body but have run into a little snag. The pickup route's are a little smaller than the original Fender body so the pickups won't fit.

Does anyone know if there are aftermarket jazz pickups that are a smaller than the stock MIM one's?

is this an old mex jazz bass, where the neck and bridge pickups are the same size? if so, then you need to upgrade those terrible pickups anyway, and any decent aftermarket set should fit the new body just fine.

It's a late 90's Jazz Bass. I've been looking around a lot today and I think I've decided on the Seymour Duncan Classics, stk-j1's. I've measured and it looks like they will fit.
