Jazz pup's beneath your soapbar covers

    Has anyone tried this? I prefer the Jazz pup sound, but have seen some nice basses with soapbars lately that I would love to grab. Assuming the dimensions line up, couldn't I just stick my Jazz pup's under those soapbar covers and get my preferred sound?

    I wouldn't see why not- you might have to put a dot of silicone or something on them to make sure they stay put, but I plan on doing some exotic wood covers for mine.

    Some comapnies do this already. I know for a fact that EMG & Bart make them.
