Okay, so I've got this new fascination with a couple groups I just discovered recently. Postmodern Jukebox and Flash Mob Jazz. Both groups are similar, cover bands doing stellar interpretations in different time periods for the songs. One is based in the US and I believe the other is somewhere out of the UK. I just though I would share this for those of you who like something a little different. They have so many voices and variations. Its quite simply amazing. I just love how much fun they have. And they capture the sound of the eras and places really well.
hey thanks! really enjoyable, as you said. a lot of fun. i play in two "horn bands" and one of them does 'twists' on pop tunes, but definitely jazz style. both fun.
