It looks to me like that MM pickup isn't in the typical MM position, but rather in a typical bridge position. For a single MM pickup I would much prefer the typical MM location as the bridge only might sound a bit thin for my taste.
yeah me too, it isnt in the sweet spot , but if u ask warmoth to get your body without the pickup routing you cold get it right by your own. However was refering to the overall look i might do something like this in 5 strings but with 2 pickups ala roscoe.
Just because the pickup isn't in the typical MM position doesn't mean it'll sound bad; just different. I, for one, would like to hear it.
I would like to hear it too, but i dont like the way many bridge pickups sound soloed, including my vigier.
I saw that once in a video! In one of the "Bullet in your head" videos Tim Cumerford was using a bass that was either EXTREMELY similar or the same it looks like the same thing. Search for it it was on their
Or you could just have Warmoth route it in the sweet spot as opposed to the bridge, instead of doing it yourself.
Im not sure of this, but i think that warmoth only puts the pickup routing in 1 place for each pickup style and each position (neck and bridge)
