    350 W @ 8 Ohms per Cab.

Someone Local has a pair for $400.

I've been trying to decide between getting a dedicated Bass Amp or PA Equipment with Cabs that could do double-duty since I don't just play Bass & need a decent Mobile system.

What kind of bass head would go well with these?

  2. You would need a Preamp, a power amp, a cross over, and a sub woofer.

400 for a pair ain't much and it might yield interesting results but it depends what you're after. If you want a (sort of)hifi tone and you don't stand to close to the cabinet, PA cabs are an option. Make sure you're amp has some tone controls to dail-in the desired bass sound.
If you want speakers with a "baked" in tone for bassguitar you may want to look at dedicated basscabs.
