I forgot to start a thread at the beginning of the build, but I do have a blog on my website:

    http://www.jcbasses.com/quilted8.html

Pretty much all of the information about it can be found in that blog. Any comments or suggestions?

  2. What a great bass !!

I had a quick flick through the build diary. Just superb!!

The owner is going to be one happy bunny :hyper:

  3. as a kung fu master walks slowly across the bass, but SURPRISE!! ITS A SUMO, and snaps the neck into that cold water. A sad day for an amazing looking bass :bassist:

    I'd dub the bass "Tranquility".

    Pure Awesomeness.

Thank you very much, I am sure he will be very happy as well.

Glad to see the progress blogs helped out, let me know if you have any questions.

    I like that name, thanks!

  7. I really love the fretboard of the Buckeye Burl 5, if this plays anything like that, I've got nothing.

    +1
