    Whoo-Hoo!
Heard it first from Dennis Michaels - but confirmed here; http://www.wmcworld.com/events.asp?w=366

Jeff Genzler coming to DC area to do a meet and greet with DC area musicians. Feel free to post here any questions or comments you may have for Jeff.

For those of you who have never made the pilgrimage, Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center has been a mecca for musicians in the DC area for many many years. It is both an honor and a privilege to have Jeff and Dennis appearing at Chuck's and meet their faithful!

Yes, I wish I could make it as well. I bought my first Fender Jazz bass and an Ampeg B-15 from Chuck when he was still in downtown D.C., and continued to do business with him for years after he moved to Wheaton. I now live in the midwest and can't get back east for the visit.

I would also like to meet Jeff. I love the Genz Benz equipment, and their service is the best. I hope all that can make it have a great visit!

We do plan on doing these around the country. One of our more immediate "hits" would be Austin. If we get a strong dealer request from Dallas, we could do that too.

If I may ask, why Austin? Anything to do with Ed and/or Bass Emporium?

  7. Man... i always forget that Chuck Levin's is still around. I live in mid-western Maryland and if i'm in the DC area, Atomic Music and Victor Litz always seem to have priority for me.

I'll have to check this out though! I haven't been to CL's in about 6 years.

    correct on both accounts.

  9. sounds good! I know that WMC is pissed at me because I only go in there to try basses then try to find them used, but I love that place. Best music store in the DC/metro area (though JiveSound has them beat on the bass front, lol). No idea who Jeff Genzler but thsi may be worth checking out.
