Beauty! The ultimate Dano. Is she 34" scale?

    It's a short 30" scale.

Tim is this the Longhorn you used for some of "Fearless"?

  7. Thats a beautiful Longhorn! I'm still kicking myself for selling two JJ Longhorns for 1000.00 about 8 years ago if I remember
right. One was a solid blue I bought in 1993 with a rosewood bridge, and a newer one that was copperburst with the adjustable
bridge and the JJ design Lonhorn body shape. But money was needed and I had to do what I had to do! Wish I had the money
for that one. The blueburst is gorgeous! A lot of people don't realize how great a bass they are and worth every penny!
    Good luck!

No. Unfortunately that one--which I played a ton for years--was ruined in the 2010 flood here in Nashville. I do currently have a couple of them though, and they're still one of my absolute favorite basses. I'm just trying to simplify my gear right now.

    Price drop to 1200 shipped.

I have not lived there. I'm from Detroit originally, and been in Nashville since 2002.

Ten years ago you could get a new one for $750 but now you don't see these for less than $1400 on eBay and I think there was one recently listed at over $2k. If I had a little more liquid cash I'd be all over this bass...it certainly isn't going to decrease in value. It's in nice condition and the 1st gen handmade adjustable bridge definitely raises the cool factor for me. I'm not huge on buying without playing but I'd make an exception here. I've owned two JJ's, played several others and all of them were very good to excellent instruments. I'm surprised this hasn't sold.

That's true, and they've become harder to find since JJ retired. I still use them often, but don't need a whole collection of them right now. Gotta find this one a new home.
