I just wanted to say....I am almost always here, flogging the Bongo, but sometimes even I play something other than EBMM basses.

And my advice to you is to get yourself a Lakland Jerry Scheff signature model just as soon as you can.

Kinda like a Jazz bass that wants to kill your momma.

    Nice :p

I may be in the market for a new bass soon. I want growl, and a nice smooth roundness. Warwicks are the biggest interest atm, but i've never been a fan of the feel of the newer necks. Lakland's have been interesting me lately, don't know if they'l give me what I want though....mmm GAS.

I was there and can testify. Even though I came wanting to bask in the Bongo sound, that was one nice sounding bass. And it looks real pretty too.

I don't think the bass is terribly small - but then I am not a terribly small person, I guess.

Travis, I'm trying, dude, I really am. Once Sterling starts in with the ridicule, what can a poor boy do?

  10. Holy Crap BovineHost,

You dwarf that bass. Please be gentle, she's so pretty.

  11. Sterling did swing low with the Bongo necklace joke. Did I still laugh, yes.

However, the Scheff looks good hanging where you got it Jack. Not to mention that Inca Silver is hot enough to give anybody with good eyes a case of GAS.

I don't know, boys - that bass looks normal size to me.

It is indeed a Skyline. Buy one. Call Dude. He has one or two in GOLD, I hear.

    And who is THIS?

So much for internet anonymity ;) Beauty of that sort should be shared with all. Hmmm...there is something a little off about that picture, I think its because I am squinting my eyes or something. I am not sure the last time I saw a pic of my profile...hmmm...

"Flogging the Bongo"? Now *that's* a visual I could do without!

    Sweet bass, Jack.

No sound clips but if the video I shot has decent sound, I might put up a tune or two on the Cowpilot website.
