I bought a JO5 from Adrian last week before NAMM. He is backand is shipping it to me today. WOW a new bass. I have not bought a new bass in........well 6 months. He said it has a great passive finger style tone. It was kind of crazy before he left for L.A. and for some reason I thought it was Lake Placid Blue.
But I really like the Natural Ash!! I might put a black
    pick guard on it though.
Sorry, the file it to big so I can't attach the pic.
    Thanks Adrian!!

    Just kidding bro.

Congrat's on the J5 purchase, looks like a great bass. Give us a review when you can. I didn't get a chance to check them out at NAMM.

Bass7755, you're gonna love that bass. I received mine about a month ago, and we're still on a honeymoon. The MTD 535 and the F Bass are gonna be wallflowers for at least another month.

I got mine with the J-Retro installed, but I've played it passive too. The passive tone is great for both fingerstyle and slap & pop!

I got one on the way too. I really can't wait. And a J-Retro deluxe to top it off when it arrives.

They both have the lakland JO5's.

I finally got my JO5 from AccessBass today! I have
owned and played a lot of high end basses and this
one is right up there with the best. I don't know
how Lakland sells these so "cheep". I went over
it with a flashlight and could not find any flaws. The fit and finish is fantastic. When I got home and tuned it to pitch. The action was pretty low with no fret buzz. I only have my Crate pratice
amp here and it sounded great. I really like the passive vintage tones this baby can produce. I
probably will not get a chance to plug into my
SVT untill next weekend. I have been looking for
a vintage style bass for quit a while and the JO5 is
exactly what I was looking for. I'll post some
    pics next week.

Adrian, I am glad you did not keep this one!! Thanks
    for all of your help!
