I'm leaving shortly for another interview. This one is close to home with some travel, pays well, and is a good career move. I've only been out three weeks, and want to keep it that way! Wish me luck, please...
Sorry if I am too late, been a busy morning. here is my tip: Be a good listener, dont interupt let them finish before you reply, always show respect ..ie...yes sir or yes ma'am. make eye contact, and be polite. and trim your damm nose hairs will ya !!!!!!!!
Good luck ! And if anybody knows anyone in the Philly area looking for and 8 to 5 manage ment job let me know; i've got one starting at 32.5k !
The job market seems to be shaping up a little bit better than it was a couple years ago. Thanks in part to our president, GW Bush. And let's also thank him for those tax cuts. Ok, some welfare mama might not get a cadillac, but ill be able to pay rent and have money left over for beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would wish you luck, but c'mon now, if I really had a wish I would make myself rich and powerful or something.
One very important thing about interviews, is being persistant. When I went for my interview(granted I am only a poor dishwasher, but tey could haved hired any other 16 year old idiot) It took about a week to actually set up an interview, and I had to contact about four people to do so. But since it is in a nic resturaunt very close to home, there are things I could move up to be. Bus boy(eh..) waiter, cook, yada yada yada/...... Edit:Now that I look at this, it looks pretty damn ranty...oh well.
HeavyDuty, my day job is a career advisor at a university. One thing I advise my clients to do is to research the company, so that in the interview you can show them that you know what is going on, and that you really want to work for them. It sounds like you did well, and I wish you the bet of luck!
