John... Deacon or Stirratt?

    Ever seen the two of them in the same room or photo together?
    But all joking aside, these are two of my favorite bassists, for similar reasons, with similar faces, similar basses (sometimes), and I think their playing is stylistically relatively similar and versatile as well.
    Obviously I know they're not from the exact same era, but anybody else ever notice this or am I crazy?

    ummm..... who? got some reading up to do... Ah ok, I knew I should know John Deacon, the other guy, never listened to Wilco much I guess. Funny resemblance.

    ha i guess i should have mentioned what bands they're in. both kinda underdogs i suppose, but both great, super tasteful players

    Until I saw this particular picture, it never occurred to me just how much my brother-in-law looks like John Deacon (seriously, that picture looks a lot like my BIL).


    And I've never seen THEM in the same room at the same time. Coincidence? Hmmmmmm .......
