I'm installing an East pre tomorrow. I'd like to hear from people that have it concerning the internal low end adjustments specifically.
Where are you putting the lower and upper bass corner frequencies?

I'll likely start out measuring with my analyzer to get a smooth response and work out from there and I know every bass will sound different but I'm curious.
If you know approximately what your selected frequencies are I'd like to know, along with what type of wood your bass is built out of and pickups and your thoughts on the sound.

I don't have a uni-pre but I have played with various parametric eq's. I'm assuming 12db slopes at each filter knee. I wouldn't go higher than 80hz on the low-pass. Letting in too much 100-200 can muddy up the sound in a hurry. For my tastes I wouldn't go much below 50hz for the high-pass.
