    Tried it out and going a more simple 2 band route. I had it installed in my precision deluxe and moved it to my jazz to test it out.
    Previous buyer of my p dlx complained about rf interference. the ground to the bridge was loose so that fixed the sound interference. Double checked it on my jazz and everything checked good.

    This pre is a 3 band vol/blend, treb/bass, mid/mid freq, passive/active tone control. Will come shipped on a jazz plate.
    Your bass will need a side mount jack and preferably rear route cavity to fit all the wires and circuit board cleanly. If not it'll be a tight fit in a precision bass. But will fit.

    Are the controls on individual boards or mounted to a single circuit board? Do you have a pic of the circuit side?
