    After seeing what some were willing to pay for his instruments, I will no longer laugh at those selling famous instruments on ebay.

    That P bass brought $100,000!!!

    The alembic explorer fetched $81,000!!

    Yeah, the auction was already over when I got the e-mail message that alerted me to it. (A friend sent it in the morning but it didn't reach our e-mail server until about four hours later--it hitched a ride on some damn slow electrons.) ;)

    But it's fascinating to browse through the catalog. I expected a lot of basses and guitars, but I didn't expect to see so many brass instruments.
