I noticed this ages ago. Every time I watch the Smothers Brothers performance, I can't help but notice Entwistle's crazy and somewhat painful looking, contorted thumb posistion on his right hand.
Looks like he has a crazy double jointed thumb to be able to do this. And I guess he probably did this just to mess around.
Any one else notice???? It's like he's anchoring his thumb on the back of his hand.

  2. I can do that with my left hand but not with my right. With a few days practice I could, I think!

His thumb is trying to get away from the volume coming from Moon's drum kit.

I think his thumb is bent inward and obscured by his massive pimp jewelry.

    East of Eden.
That looks more like an injury than anything else! Also, did he obscure the Vox logo on his bass?
  11. It's jewellery. A fairly monstrous piece of jewellery, but jewellery nonetheless.
