OK,OK, I'm probably in the wrong place for this question, but this is my 1st post since registering with TB so please don't jump up my back too much!:meh: And now for my question. Does anybody know where I can get note for note bass notation ( not tab) books for the blues of John Lee Hooker:confused: Any help will be oooohhh so appreciated. Thanks, Bill

That's a pretty tall order, especially since a lot of the older recordings sound like the band isn't really sure where they're going. You'll hear a lot of "disagreement" as to the chord changes, and much of it seems made up on the spot.

You'd probably have better luck finding Radiohead tabs... :D :help:

And a lot of the records I have heard, are just him and an acoustic guitar - no bass!!
