John McVie's Alembics

I always like this bass. It's from the early daze (circa '75), before they had sort of standardized on body shapes. And note the brown pickup covers.

I corresponded with Mica at one time about having a repro of this bass made. As you can imagine, it was $$$

Anyway...




He had a similar fretless with a stainless steel board, from the same time
