  1. Does anyone here own the "Progressive bass concepts" video with John Myung?

    Is it worth the money?

I'll move this to General Instruction.

Doing a search there might be helpful too.

  4. Yes, I own it.

It's more for theory-learning than actually playing. Although, he does play a bass song/solo he made called Solar Groove (nice melodic/jazz thing), then he shows you how to play the Metropolis tapping, intro to Scarred, that fast finger/spider riff to Change of Seasons, and he plays Free Port Jam at the end, crazy bass soloing.

70% of it is him showing you how to make chord progressions, and how to learn the modes. He also touches up on tapping, harmonics, and scales.

For $20-25, it's definitely worth it.

I have it, and I agree with Mr. Mireles, it is worth it.
