I don’t have a Leslie but I think I have closely emulated JPJ’s tone on Heartbreaker ... I have paired a Darkglass B3k with the Aguilar chorusaurus ! Pretty excited about this. Check it here:
This was a backing track I used from karaoke version.com by using a custom backing track in which the bass part was removed, I could go back and add the bass
That was great! Nice work! The bass was both thick and crunchy, which I liked. The chorus did a good oscillation on that. Thumbs up!
What's the order, Chorus>B3K or B3K>Chorus? Also, did you try it both ways, how did the sound compare?
I don't think it was ever stated that this backing track was LZ. It's nice cover but not the original band.
If you watch the video the you will read within the video that it was a custom backing track with the bass removed. Sorry it was not stated here that it isn’t the original band but it was explained in the video - there are annotations on the screen. No it is not the original band bc I purchased a backing track that had multiple tracks and I deleted the bass track to add mine. The point is not the band per se, it is that the combination of pedals reproduced an effect.
Not sure where my reply went on this. It is a backing track from karaokerversion.com with the bass removed. Hate the vocals on this one but needed something without the original bass part to add mine.
Another one I will have to check out as I am not all that familiar with Led Zeppelin other than greatest hits kind of stuff. I know I’m prob going to get blasted on here for not being a big zep fan, but I just never have been. Our band is going to do heartbreaker though bc our guitarist loves zep and we thought it would be cool to put it back to back with Pat Benetar’s heartbreaker - a two shot
Apparently on this song a Leslie was used - one of the only times another effect was used. I’m sure someone here knows the story on it much better than me
