I know his antics irritate some, but the talent is there. The bass looks like a Hadrien Feraud Ken Smith. Here is an instrumental too.

  2. Shata ka ka Dr Cheese :). He is so funny. I picked up on "The Walk" yesterday and liked it a lot. I hadn't heard him sing before... certainly not his strong suit. But personality??? Wow. I could live with a few less antics, but he is a showman, for sure.

I'm not seeing the antics, he's sounds great!

  4. The 'antics' are on his bass reviews (of which I have watched many)

The vocal in the first clip, is too dry... needs a touch of reverb or delay.

    A fan of Johnny.

I have always liked Johnny. He genuinely loves bass and basses. I have seen him kiss a head-stock and I know exactly how he feels.

You kidding? Johnny Long rules.... Yeah sometimes his videos can kind of drag, but he seems like a really good man and IMO a great player...

He's a funky player with a positive spirit and a serious love for bass and performing. Hard not to like that.
