  2. What is your assessment of it, too quite, too loud. How's the hair? I was interested in it.

    My biggest impression, and that of my students as well, is that it's very light - a good bow for someone who likes their bow not to be heavy. I, OTOH, like something pretty hefty in my hand. It's pleasant to look at, too.

    The hair seemed fine to me, although again here, my preferred bow hair is a mix of white and black, heavy on the black, and this bow has white hair. And the students who tried it play either black or mixed hair, so that's kind of what everyone around here is used to.

    You might want to look at the other JPM thread I started: their bows are very much like Prochownik's - fast and light. Thanks

    @LouisF, I have read that other thread. Fast and light is a description I agree with.
