Love that solo. Is it even possible to play on a bass?
Would love to see a tab if it exists. Thanks.
Nice solo that was actually played on a Yamaha GX-1 analog synthesizer. (I looked that up out of curiosity)
I don't think you can play it on a bass because of the spot where he hits 2 notes next to each other at the same time. It's probably a mistake though. I'm still pretty sure it goes above the range of a normal 20-fret 4-string fender.
If this piece is what is meant its WAY to high to play at recorded pitch on a normal 4.
Here it is computer transposed 2 octaves down from a guitarpro tab on ultimate guitar.
The fingerings are garbage after the transpose. You'll probably need to retab it. (I'm not good enough to play it yet so I'm not going to fix the fingering now)
Cool. I'll check it out when I get home. Thanks!!
I've always heard those as "grace" notes.
Plus, if you have the stretch, you can play two notes a half-step apart at the same time on bass
was this useful?
Printed it out but have not had time to do anything with it though.
When I saw your post, I remembered I had learned this solo, way back when. I figured it wouldn't take much time to transcribe & Tab it, as it is fairly short. I even made a video of the solo at regular tempo, and 2 slower tempos.
Hope it helps! enjoy and good shedding.

Awesome!!! Thanks for posting. Tab is pretty close to what trblWthTrebles had posted earlier.
You make it look fairly simple. Thanks again.
