Have at it
Nice bass, I hope it come with a car for that price.
The current customs
are just mad. Mostly the fretted - 36" scale, purpleheart body, ebony top and back, ebony and purpleheart neck. They should have a raffle to guess how much it weighs. I'd say 18 pounds.
Strange they posted no pictures of the back of the fretted bass. Also the first time they didn't post the resulting "list" price.
is my favorite though. Now, if it were a 6-string Rogue shape, with Series II electronics. . .
I've actually played that bass...
...VERY nice! One thing that helps out is that it's a medium scale, not a standard 34". It has a surprisingly comfortable feel to it, and sounds great.
Oh, and Trip's a great dude too, and a scary player on top of that!
nah, alembics are really cool, but i'm too happy with my conklins . besides, i already have 2 8 strings. that is a beautiful color, though.
those are the cheapest knobs i have ever seen on a expensive bass. EEEW
That's Trip Wamsley's bass, and though i havent heard in- the repot is that when he plays it, people weep. But then when Trip plays ANYTHING, i want to weep. And that means he's a BAD mofo!!
I get option anxiety when I hear Trip play...can't decide if I wanna cry cuz of his playing, or because I'm laughin' so hard...he's gotta be the funniest virtuoso ever.
Man that is one attractive instrument. That finish is to die for!
I'll take quotes you don't see everyday for $300, Alex.
That would be cool if Trip came over and posted some info.
he's been participating over in the amps forum, somebody should go get his attention.
