Juan Alderete Isolated Bass Mars Volta

    Has anyone listened to this isolated Juan Alderete clip? What a great player and amazing tone. Anyone care to take a shot at the gear used for this recording? I'd love to cop some of these tones in my own playing. No tube amp here unfortunately...

    This is pretty cool, though I'll admit I was just little bit disappointed because I was hoping for one of his effects-laden sound barrages.
