    Hi fellow bass fanatics!

Just wondering if anybody knows if it's possible to find any tabs or notes from the live version of "Fight for your mind" where Juan goes berserk on his bass?

Also if anybody have some information 'bout other bands, where this real sweet bass player is laying his lines???

I'm with you on Nelson. I was immediately impressed when I saw him on PBS "Sessions at W. 54th" with Ben Harper. I had never seen anyone use, like 3 successive B slides in about a second as a fill between chord changes. I'm in the process of incorporating it into my repertoire. I mean this guy looking like a 350lb thug just dropping B bombs on his MTD! and then just laying bricks thick and low as that SVT will let him.

It's not exactly what either of us want, but the best I've found so far are, #1, http://www.benharpertablatures.free.fr/index2.htm (which doesn't always work and I have to do a "ben harper tabs bass search" with Lycos and look for the result about a "discussion with Ben Harper), #2, http://www.benharper.net/index3.html , and #3 http://www.basstabs.net/tab/bass/ The one which I find the most informative of them, #1 discusses Nelson's style as well. But I can't always get to it. You can click on the Union Jack flag for an English version but the translation isn't too hot. However, the ideas come through for me.

If you or I find better, let's get back together, here, at TalkBass. I think a lot of the tabs will look like -BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Marty- When I first saw that bad man, I thought, "Who the hell is Ben Harper?"
