Just a tad overpriced, IMO . . .

    This past summer, I sold my 'berger. It was about the earliest one I had seen, serial # 00021. It wasn't in as nice shape, missing the leg rest and the set screws for the head piece. It did have the OLD raised letter EMG pickups tho. Went for around $1300.

    I love mine . . .

    We're leaving tomorrow on a weeklong ski trip, and my old trusty XL-2 will be coming as well. :D

    However, I'm don't think I'd pay $4k even for my holy grail -- a mint condition XL-5W, and I don't think more than 100 of them were ever made. :meh:
