Just an interesting stringing technique I discovered on YT

    At 4:45 he demonstrates on a roundwound string - bending the string before cutting it to prevent the inner core of the string from slipping, preventing a dead string sound.

    Just thought I'd share.

    That's always been the correct way to do it, although it's only really necessary with round core strings.

  5. I do it with all types of strings, even hex core. The crimp helps to lock the string inside the tuning post.
