Just bought an Ibanez Ergodyne 5 string, whatta the nobs do?

    I am incredibly new to Bass, I got an Ibanez 5 string, and right now, all I know is the volume nob. Anyone know what the other 4 nobs do?

    Does it takes a battery? If yes then it is probably passive pick ups with an active EQ.
    The knobs are:
    the "other big one" controlls the pick ups, which one is sending out more signal- you'll feel it slightly click right in the middle - that is a 50/50 mix of the two. Play with it and see what it does to your tone, especially for different playing techniques.

    The little ones are tone controls or EQ - the one closest to the neck is low, the one in the middle is mid and the one closest to the bridge is the highs. With theese knobs the middle position is "0". Clockwise to boost, counterclockwise to cut.
