I'm not very intelligent when it comes to amps. anyway, what's does the back of a cab look like.
usually just a slab of wood to cover the back (of course with a carpeting of such). That's where you plug your amp into also, there's usually one of the other or both a speakon connector and a 1/4" in input. Depending on its design the back of the cab may also have a 'port' which is for acoustic purposes. Most people prefer front ported cabs where there's a slab of ventilation at the bottom or a circular air vent near the speakers (this is also in the back on rear-ported cabs). The back of a cab... nothing fancy, why do you ask?
Are you asking about the back of the cabinet inside or outside? On the inside, it is most likely a flat sheet, with the jacks mounted to it, and possibly some insulation stapled on to reduce reflections. Some cabinets are more complex inside, with various baffles built in.
Why are you asking?
just curious because all i've ever used are combo's.
