Does anyone use two 115 cabinets with a 210 cabinet?

I have used two 18s with two 12s. They were biamped.

can't say that i remember using that specific combination --- maybe --- but over the years (especially in the 80's) i tried a bunch of different throw-together rigs based on my access to popular PA cabs of the era. 15s, 18s, 12s: two, three, and four at a time, mixed and matched with each other on whims, for looks, street cred, pure silliness --- all for the rock/funk clubs and big stage gigs i'd get when not playing jazz...for the jazz stuff i've always used the smallest cabs i've had (and could get away with) at the time! :D i think over-the-top big rigs are fun! just not practical for what i do mostly. the last time i used an 18" cab was 6-7 years ago for a rock gig. i paired it with a 2x10 and powered/bi-amped the rig with an old carver PM. fun to play but stupid to move.

OP: if you've got the cabs and amps to power them + the bands and venues to play them = have at it! :D i think everyone should have the pleasure of moving more air than they need to, at least once. good luck finding the roadies you might need.
