Just got a new project bass

It's a 92-93 Fender Jazz MIM. Cream w/white pick guard, rosewood fretboard. Found it used at a local shop and it went home with me. Can any of you tell me anything about MIM jazz basses from those years?

I am going to have a friend copper shield the guts and I want to put some Dimarzio Js in it. From everything I have read, they are great.

The tuners say "Licenced by Schaller". Are they Schaller tuners or copies? Are those stock for this model? I was thinking about some replacement Hipshots at first but they seem pretty solid.
