How do you know if a pick up is going out on you?
My Warwick Thumb arrived yesterday, its used. Is the neck pick-up supposed to be alot louder than the bridge pick-up? I know that the tone should be different, but the bridge pup is much queiter than the neck.
If anyone can give any info, it will be much appreciated.
BTW, they are the MEC pick-ups.
    Thanks,
    Vegaas

A 'neck' pickup will always be louder but that can usually be adjusted for. The bridge pup should be nearer the strings (but not too near).
