  12. After seeing these basses, I have the even more respect for those who build their own instruments, beautful basses my friend! I would really like to know if you have a website, or if you take orders, that 5 string Gecko has caught my eye. I would really like to see one in a midnight wine or wolf grey! Keep up the fantastic work. :)

Most of the parts for the basses I've built came from www.warmoth.com. They make very nice quality necks & bodies. They tend to be on the heavy side but the basses, IMO, are better than any high end Fender that I've compared it to.

I've used an AllParts neck (Made In Japan) once with a Steve Harris Sig. body that I bought off of PMKelly (Lake Placid Blue P Bass) & it was nice but not as nice as the Warmoth parts. I considering building another full AllParts bass for myself.

The Black J bass was Mighty Mite parts. Very inexpensive. The parts were good for the money. The neck is very comperable to a Made in Mexico neck & the body was heaiver than I expected. I don't think I'll ever use their bodies again but I'd consider using the necks again.

 The red jazz with the black p/guard and black dot inlays/maple neck looks so freaking tight! How does she play?

Edit: I meant to write black block, not black dot inlays.
