I don't see much tip toeing going on with this dude, Kirk. I see brutality, death, and raw food farts ;)

That EQ is looking a little bare up there... I think you need to add an EQ pedal to really get the frequency control you're looking for :ninja:

Congrats on a killer setup! Been running mine for 4 years now...

Yes, I was joking about the EQ :) In all seriousness I thought about adding one of those exact units to my rig... until I landed my 1200 :bassist:

If it were me, I'd yank the EQ until I was sure I needed it. EQ's can be useful at times, but they can often add a thin layer of yuck that masks your amp's sound. I'm of the belief that the shorter you can keep your chain, the better off you are. And that's why I only use a wireless, a preamp/ABY box, overdrive, octaver, phaser and synth/envelope pedals.

    :bag:

  12. haha yeah not gonna lie the EQ's only in there for looks and and to be outa the way in our jam room. The gbe 1200 sounds amazing by itself and dont wanna change that.seems like a crime if I masked it with a 30 year old eg haaha

Great amp, but the EQ unit is overkill IMHO. GB amps have any sound you can think of it fou take the time to tinker.
