Just received my Lakland 4-94 Dlx. Plays like butter. Here she is

  2. Beautiful bass. If you don't mind my asking, how much did you have to throw down to get it? Lakland is definately on my wish list.

Actually, very well. Same electronics, assembled in USA, plays great. I have read other posts that say 80% of the bass for 50% of the price. I just had the USA lakland on my wish list

  6. Thanks for the help. Your level of bass will stay on my wish list for years but I might be able to swing the import a lot sooner.

it cost 1800$ and the guy told me it was 3700 new like it was a USA one..... but i want to make sure it is not the skyline and im paying for the real thing....

The word SKYLINE across the headstock should tip you off.

  11. Those stickies come of easily(there's a black 55-02 in the for sale section with both "skyline" and "made in korea" removed).....look for the "Fishman" battery box on back, I think the US version uses a different one. I would get the s/n off the headstock and call Dan over at Lakland to be sure.

    FYI:
Early Lakland Skylines did not have Skyline written on the headstock.

Wow, I had to check and make sure mine wasn't stolen. It looks just like my 4-94. Great bass - congratulations.

I've never been a fan of light-colored fingerboards, but Laklands are the best looking IMO. Extremely cool. They look like a bar of white chocolate to me (maybe they taste as good :D ). Congratulations!
