    Hello everyone !

I'll just pop in to review my newest bass , my DPCustom .

In one word : outstanding .
it has a great tone , very nice woodworking and a great look ! look at the pic. !!

It has an ash body with a bolivian rosewood top .The neck is plain maple . And the coolest of all
are the 2 Bartollini's : they sound incredible ! Mush better then my previous bass . full of growl !
Just the way I like them served !

Mr. Pushic was a great help , although we where communicating with the help of our friend ; mister e-mail ! very patient !

Dave has a really cool operation. All the basses I've seen of his have had very noce woods and interesting designs. He is definitely a very unique builder. And his prices appear more than reasonable. I haven't had a chance to play one of his pieces, but with the apparently growing number of people buying them, I hope I will be able to.

And guest, that is a really nice looking bass, I like the contrast between the maple neck and the rosewood top. Good stuff.

    Congratulations !

That's a very good looking bass. Also, I'm planning to get a DP Custom next year, and I'm thinking in a Claro Walnut top over Swamp Ash for the body, and your bass is giving me the confirmation that the contrast between the woods looks great.

    Enjoy !

  9. Very nice looking bass!

Of course, now I'm even more anxious to get mine!!

    Congrats!

  10. Yeah, Jeff!!! With guest's beauty out the door, maybe we can expect some dadburn pictures of progress on ours!!!! Anybody else want a seat on the patience-pot???

Guest - that is simply beautiful. The top wood is a gem by itself.

    thanks guys !

I'll post another pic , with a better view to the woods. I really think, ble_rush, you should go for
this combination too . The golden hardwares are superb .

    Who needs women eh ? , when you've got this beauty ! ;) :D :D

I couldn't stand it. I ordered a neck from Warmoth today. Gonna build a 4 string P/J, maple neck, J-retro preamp...

    :D

  19. It's a beauty! I like that body better than some I've seen on his site. Kinda looks like one of the Hanewinckel styles.

yes , it looks almost the same but it isn't the same .
I made the design myself in autocad 2000, so I doubt it"is simular .
