I've got 6 weeks of break this winter from college, and I really want to learn about bass/amp/pedal repair/setup/making. I'm from Fairfield County, and would love to "apprentice" with someone who does these repairs. Honestly don't even care about getting paid, just want to learn from someone who knows what they're doing and get some experience. Not sure if this is allowed and sorry if it's not. If this is a thing that I can do, how do I go about it?
I wanted to have the same opportunity for a long long time (when I had free time) but couldn't find anybody near me. Now I don't have that much free time but still don't have anybody near me so it is not a disappointment Hope you can find someone, I believe it is easier in the USA
Although the seminars look great, it would be pretty expensive for me to get all the way to Michigan...
Take a course in basic electricity first. You should understand how pickups function before beginning.
