Just making sure

  1. Quick question. If I use the line out from my 10 watt combo amp into a power amp, then into a 4 x 10 cabinet, it will work right? I'm just looking for a temporary solution until I can afford a good preamp.

    Yes, it should work. The big question is whether or not the line output has enough voltage to drive the power amp to full power.

    One test will determine that, or at least you'll know whether it will be loud enough in the interim.

  3. I tried it, oh yeah, it works. It actually has better tone and volume than the head I've been using the DI on through the power amp, I love it.
