Oh yeah, I just put a brand new GK 410RBH in layaway at Guitar Center for $459. All must bow down in my presence! First an G&L L2000 for $450, now a GK cab.

How!? Don't those things normally sell for almost $700? I'm jealous!

Labor Day sale at Guitar Center. Man I'm so glad I decided to go early this morning.

Musicians Friend sells them for 899. Cheapest I've seen them new is $729.

I'm stuck with a Peavey Mark III for now, but in the coming months I'm adding a 2001RB and 115RBH to the mix. A full Flea rig.

Wow, in a metal band I was looking to use two 410RBH's as soon as I get the money, powered by a 1001RB or 2001RB.

I'm thinking about adding another 410RBH. That'd make on hell of 810. But I'd like to try having a traditional 410/115 rig for once.

I wouldn't mind having that cab myself, great choice and a even better price! :bassist:

GC had some great deals. I saw a brand new SM 900 for $699. If I had the dough, I would have grabbed it just to make a profit.

Congrats on the GK cab. How does it sound?

It sounds great! A couple weeks of playing it and I too will be sterile. Seriously, very clean, punchy, hifi type sound. Its loud and balsy.

How much would it cost to have the wiring switchted to 4 ohms isntead of 8? Or would this render the warranty void? Maybe I could do it after the warranty is expired. I need all the power I can get.

Also, which would you add? Another 410RBH to stack on top of it? or a 115 RBH to pack extra punch?

I almost kicked myself yesterday. Fender American Jazz and P- basses for $580. GK 1001RB, 449. SWR SM-500, 499. SM-900, 699. Anyone know if they'll have anymore of these sales coming up? I'd guess maybe at least one towards Christmas.

I'd also like to thank all those leftist, radical weirdos in the early 20th Century who pushed for workers rights, and all the Coporate Whores who exploit the fight of these radical weirdos to make a quick buck.:D

  11. You would have to replace the speakers with 16 ohm versions to make it into a 4 ohm cabinet. It currently has 32 ohm speakers in it. It would be better to just get a 210 or 115 cabinet to go with it.
