I really like my BOSS LS-2.
It's a part of my rig.
The 2 pots really make the difference.
Still, it's not a true bypass unit, even if it's pretty silent.
I wonder if the same exists in a boutique somewhere.

Yes, there is no contest. The loooper is a FAR better deal. A non-true bypass loop or a/b box makes very little sense to me.

There are a lot of functions on the Boss that the Looper doesn't have.
First, there are 2 loops on the boss.
The boss also has 2 volumes with +20 dB boost. I use this all the time to feed my SanSamp.
The boss also has many combinations between the loops.

I agree about the true bypass thingy though, even if the Boss is very transparent.
It probably will be hard to find in Europe but who knows ?

edit : I just checked their nice site. www.loooper.com

The equivalent of a Boss LS-2 would have the following options :

    2 loop Loooper $ 80
    gain pots $ 40
    A/B/Y switches $ 45
    parallel loop $ 10
    ----------------------
    Total : $ 175.

Compared to a Boss LS-2, it will have true bypass but will still miss the +20 dB clean booster.

Radial just introduced a Bassbone that looks promising, includes up to 3 bass inputs with volume balancing for each, a loop, true bypass and some other features. I'm thinking about a loooper, but I'd like to A/B one of these first.

It's cool, but all these other product sod things that my pre-amp does better. I just need a true bypass on / off for my EHX and Boss pedals. Can't beat a 40-80$ loooper for that.

yeah the same here... i have a couple of those "happy meal" danelectro pedals that sound EALLY flippin good for bass but the SUCK the tone while they are off.... i figure 45 bucks for a small clone and i will STILL need a bypass or screw the name brand, use a pedal i like and get the bypass that is cheaper. done deal:bassist:

I just ordered my two loop Loooper. I went with purple fleck paint, green LEDs, the parallel option, and the internal battery clip. I can't wait.

Cool, can I be in it? Only thing is, if that Blisshead guy is in it I'm not joining, he'll ruin it.

edit: that purple fleck paint kicks ass.
