Show at my college's student center:

    Dead Meadow
    An Albatross
    Sick Lipstick
    The Fugue

Crazy good show. I went for An Albatross, who were awesome...bizarre, and had too short a set, but awesome none the less. Sick Lipstick were pretty bad, the music wasn't ok (nothing to write home about), but the singer was GRATING. I normally don't get annoyed by high-pitched voices, but *shudders*, ironically it was worse when she talked. Dead Meadows were a nice follow-up to An Albatross, kinda droning Blue Cheer-esque stuff that reminded me a bit of the Melvins. Its funny because all the hipsters here vehemently hate jam bands, yet they all love Dead Meadow, who are, essentially, a jam band. Silly silly hipsters.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
