    How's your Carvin hangin'?

Hey all. The Carvin is just fine. I just wish I could find the right strings for it! I did not go anywhere, just my life had been in a major uproar this summer. but things are calming down again. I am still playing bass for my worship band.
If any of you all know of where I could find some taper wound flats I would like to know.
The Carvin came with LaBella strings on it. But I really can't stand the sounds of rounds. I have Elixers on it now, which I like but I have dead spots on those already since they are not tapered for string through basses. OH the dilema of the eternal string hunt!
Plus I orederd Carol Kaye's tape from her web site. It really helped to pull some things together. And her fretting techniques has helped my shoulder/arm a bunch!...Staci
