I'm thinking it's the one with 2-350w. amps, correct? They can both be ran Full Range or you can use the onboard xover and run one high and one low. I bought mine for $200 and sold it for $275. If free shipping, I'd say you're in the ball park-ish. Just remember, a dollar isn't worth the paper it's printed on till 2 folks agree it has value and how much that value it is. So, if it was worth it to you...
Yes Scott it's 2 x 350 at 4 ohms 240 at 8 ohms I had a "5000" back it "the day" so this must be 2K better right? Bought it on a whim when I missed out on a GK 800RB!!
$00.50 per watt is good! You can drive two 4 ohm loads, a 4 and an 8 load, or two 8 ohm loads. Let us know how you use it once it arrives.
I was happy w/ my 5k through a Hartke 410XL and a 115 JBL cab hoping I'm not just an "old fart" who's remembering things better than they actually were!! That was 20yrs agoi!!
Now I just have to convince the "wife" that it was a good deal!! (Yes that sound you just heard was a whip cracking!!!)
I enjoyed mine. I could put a cab on either side of the stage, if needed, or as a dual 410 stack. I only traded it towards my Ampeg SVT 5 Pro. Same situation, dual amps. It was super simplistic to run. Even a gui**** could do it.
These are great amps IMO, so if it's in really good condition, I'd say you got a great deal. I played one through my Ampeg 410 (a cab that I'm painfully familiar with btw, under various situations), and it was crazy loud with good tone. Played another through a Peavey 8x10, and it could've drowned out the drummer easily, without being pushed hard at all. Nice score!
I had one along with a 3500 and I liked the 7000 quite a lot! It appears to be quite rare and the dual-channels are cool so I think it's a fair price for it.
