Just so happy!

  1. After a few months and several auditions, I finally landed an audition with a great band. Just my age, super talented and nice people, dream set list. I learned their entire set list for the audition, 40 songs, just to be prepared. The audition was today and I nailed it! They actually used the words "You rock" (I always secretly suspected that I rocked :) ).

Long story short, I got it and I am thrilled! Now I get to play some of my favorite songs with really cool people. It's my early Christmas present!

40 songs for an audition shows a lot of dedication and commitment up front. Glad that the band recognized this and gave you a shot. Good luck!

keep up the good work. practice your butt off, show up to practice on time and enjoy the ride!
  11. Congrats...Now...keep your FOCUS...make it a challenge everyday to get better and prove to your mates with every session, that they chose the right bassist. This will help to keep your mind from going to mush and loosing your passion for the greatest instrument ever invented.
