Hi Playing around with my camera and Photoshop. Takes some time to load as there are many scans. Have you seen the bassbar and soundpost inside a bass ? Kind regards, CV http://medlem.tripodnet.nu/hanveltman/dbpage/dbpage1.htm
Amazing camera work CV. Do you do this for a living or is it a hobby? Any update on the "from behind the red curtain" bass project?
Thanks for your kind comment rablack Photo is just for fun (hobby). Currently the "behind the red curtain" bass is drying, at least the last oilglaze. I have failed a few times with my initiall ideas :-( A few new scans will be posted soon. Likely there is about one more weeks work on the bass. CV
Those are beautiful, C ! The sense I got when I looked at those was of an artist who really loves the instrument. Your "hobby" is pro quality.
Superlative camera work. The top picture has become my desktop wallpaper at work, I hope you don't mind. The picture with the tuning fork? Was that an aperture trick? Or did you use software for that effect? It looks natural, like a deeper aperture, but it is unfocused on two planes, which is weird. Excellent picture. What lens did you use, and what body?
Really, really cool photos! That series would make a great screen saver, ala what (All Hail!) Bob Gollihur has put together.
Thanks for your kind words rickbass1 jazzbo & mchildree ! I am blushing ;-) Jazzbo, I am simply honored ! Please feel free to use the scans ! Aperture ? No tricks realy, just used the macro function. It´s a rather simple consumers digital camera. (Ricoh RDC-7) No extra lens. Slightly enhanced in Photoshop. So are all scans. I have played with it a little further, please click the attachment to see. Regards; Christian
