She sounds FINE! Purrs AND Roars!
beauty. Skyline or USA?
Glad to hear you're happy with it!
I've always wanted to try a lakland but i've never gotten around to it.
That sure looks sweet!!
Skyline....Too broke to do much else, but thats not a complaint. I'm glad I went Skyline. Its a great feelin/sounding axe!
Glad to see you got it! Maybe you can hook up with Dick Dale again, that would be cool.
looking at a 220 W Ampeg w/15" and Built in tuner.?? Suggestions?
I've got a 44-01 in the same color, It's a sweet bass, good choice. And I play mine through an Ampeg BA115, but 100 watts, and it sounds killer, so the 220 would sound good too.
It seems to me you already know what you want...
What's your budget?
BTW, first Lakland I see with a rosewood fingerboard. Congrats!
I've played them and I think they sound nice -- but I've never played on in a band setting, just soloed. Another ampeg that I was very impressed with is the Rocket Bass B100R http://www.ampeg.com/products.htm?product=11&catid=19. But it has half the wattage.
Nice bass BTW.
If you're seriously looking for other options, perhaps an Ashdown Electric Blue combo with a separate tuner would suit you and save you a bit of money...
hey Grouch, what part of norther CA you in?
Now that you have a bass that can also pull off pretty modern, bright sounds, why not go for a 4x10' cab?
Nice skyline! Now we need sound clips.
Very nice, looking good!
