Hi Guys, Thanks for taking a look. Here's the short blurb: Measurements Mensure (String Length): 39" Upper Bout: 18" Lower Bout 24" Body Length: 41" Top to Bottom: 68" There is a juzek label inside! It says "John Juzek, Violinmaker in Prague" This instrument has a nice, complex tone and amplifies very well. It is great on the NYC transit system. I've used it in professional theatre, klezmer, jazz, and orchestral work. I have a high quality youtube video and MP3's showcasing the sound of the bass. I can provide more information and links to serious inquiries. I would like to sell the bass ASAP, asking 5,500 OBO Some more info: I've played this bass consistently for about 10 years and love it, but I need a different setup for what I'm pursuing right now. This Bass has lived in Texas, DC, and NYC (for the past 6 years). It has needed very little work. The upper bout rear seams were sealed up after last winter and a small crack was cleated last year at david gage. I'm a Spirocore guy, so the red snapper is what's on there! If I were to keep the bass I'd consider trying out some ZYEX strings. The main advantage of this instrument is it's tone. If you do a lot of jobs that need good pizz and arco (like a tango group), this bass will make you very happy. the Neck is non original, every luthier I take it to ask "who did that work?" I don't know, but they're always impressed Bass comes with a mooridian bag and realist pick up Please message me and we can talk on the phone about the bass, thanks!
